The Type 3254 threaded seat globe control valve is designed for larger sized general service applications up to the ANSI 2500 pressure class rating limit. These common service applications include process events such as erosion, abrasion, corrosion, cavitation and flashing found in most process control industries.
The Type 3254 control valve has several standard options such as temperature extension, metal bellows seal, heating jacket, high performance metal sealing trim, soft sealing trim, noise attenuation and cavitation prevention trim set, etc. In addition to these options, valves can be customized to meet exact process requirements such as NACE versions for sour gas service and cleaned for specific services (eg Oxygen, Chlorine, High Purity, etc.).
