The benefits
Very fast and reliable detection
Flame 2570 has a very short response time. This detector can detect flashes of fire and explosion in less than 50 milliseconds. The detector warns of 0.1 m2 of petrol from 90 meters in less than 2 seconds. Three infrared sensors make this fire detection fast and reliable. This detector software processes the measurement results digitally. In this way the typical dynamic characteristics of the flame (ie flickering) are recognized. This degree of reliability complies with IEC 61508 security integrity requirements of SIL2.
In addition, this fire detector has a HART® and RS-485 Modbus interface and requires very little power.
Strong and resistant
The container is very strong and weather resistant. The window is heated to protect it from freezing or condensation. You can operate Flame 2570 in a variety of environmental conditions.
Easy inspection
Built-in testing (BIT, Built-in-Test) automatically checks the electronic and optical parts of the Flame 2570. You can also trigger testing manually. With the three-color LED in front of the detector, it's easy for you to quickly identify the device's status. Green indicates normal operation, yellow indicates an error, and red indicates a fire alarm.
