The benefits
Performance strength for maximum safety
Dräger Pac 8000 can be relied upon to provide reliable and accurate readings at all times in extreme conditions. A qualified sensor with a low t-90 response time guarantees fast reactions. In addition to standard alarms, additional alarm threshold values can be specified for TLV® * and STEL *.
* TLV® = Threshold Limit Values, STEL = Short Term Exposure Limit
Sensors for special gases
Pac 8000 can be equipped with sensors for carbon dioxide (CO2), chlorine gas (Cl2), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), ammonia (NH3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), phosphine (PH3), and organic vapor (OV or OV-A ).
Dräger Pac 8000's performance is very good in detecting a variety of special gases: this tool is able to detect ozone (O3) from concentrations as low as 0.02 ppm and phosgene (COCL2) from 0.01 ppm. Pac 8000 detects nitrogen dioxide (NO2) from concentrations as low as 0.04 ppm.
Tough design - even in the worst situations
Pac 8000 can be handled easily even in extreme situations. The sensor can accept air pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar. Membrane filters protect sensors from foreign matter such as dust and liquids. Crash-resistant and chemical-resistant containers meet the IP68 standard category requirements.
