Simple operation
Handling gas, steam and aerosols has never been so easy. The Dräger X-act® 5000 automatic cylinder pump directs air to be measured via a suitable Dräger Tube. This can be done with one hand or using a shoulder strap and is easy to operate, even when wearing gloves. The simple and intuitive menu structure provides easy operation with just a few pushes of a button. By using a password-protected menu, the repeat operation mode is set.
Measurement in technical gas
To evaluate measurements in technical gas, the nature of the technical gas must be considered. Technical gas has a different viscosity than environmental air. Therefore, the pump flow must be set correctly. Following the operating steps in the "Technical Gas Measurement" mode, the Dräger X-act® 5000 will automatically be adjusted until the required flow parameters and measurement results can be read immediately.
New pump concept
The main principle is the ability to provide the flow properties required by Dräger Short-Term Tubes, while providing options for use with Tubes and Sampling Systems that require constant flow. Compared to the Dräger accuro hand pump, this new concept will reduce the average bookkeeping time for Dräger Short-Term Tubes when there is a lot of movement. Internal pumps are also designed to use extension hoses up to 30 meters (98 feet) long.
Automatic transfer measurement parameters
The printed barcode on the back side of the Dräger Short-Term Tube box contains all relevant measurement parameters. Swiping the barcode to the pump barcode reader automatically transfers the name of the material being measured, the amount of movement, and the measurement range to the screen. The steps needed to take measurements are simplified with the Dräger X-act® 5000 and the possibility of making errors is reduced to a minimum.
