The RMG 201 gas pressure regulator was designed to keep the outlet pressure steady within the specified limits, irrespective of inlet pressure and/or stream deviations. The gas pressure regulator consists of two levels of development. The effect of the inlet pressure on the outlet pressure controlling precision is largely limited by the intermediate pressure level. The set-point of the intermediate stage of the pressure is adjustable. The diaphragm of the intermediate stage is filled with the outlet pressure as a follow-up position; thus, the intermediate pressure still equals the outlet pressure by the amount of the motion. Therefore, the intermediate stress phase does not require a ventilation column. The intermediate stress level is also fitted with a security relief valve, the reaction pressure is set at 12 bar or 18 bar.
